Your children are important. You raise them to be hard working,compassionate, honest, and great contributors to their community. I want to see them achieve the same greatness on their educational path to adulthood. I support a safe learning environment where students
can concentrate on their education. I support providing classrooms with the tools they need to secure an inclusive environment for all students.
Parents are the nurturers for their children and provide the foundation for their emotional, mental, and physical development. They are the experts on the needs of their children. Therefore, I support schools developing transparent and open dialogues with parents that will build partnerships and empower them to ensure their student achieves their full potential.
As a parent whose children have graduated from the VUSD, we have experienced many pathways to successfully help our children get
the most out of their education. Honestly, not all children will attend or graduate from college. I support promoting vocational education in our high schools and partnering with local small businesses to help students find a career that best suits them.

Sus hijos son importantes. Usted los cría para que sean trabajadores, compasivos,
honestos y grandes colaboradores de su comunidad. Quiero verlos lograr la misma
grandeza en su recorrido educativo hasta la edad adulta. Apoyo un entorno de
aprendizaje seguro en el que los estudiantes puedan concentrarse en su educación. Soy partidaria de dotar a las aulas de las herramientas necesarias para garantizar un entorno inclusivo para todos los estudiantes.
Los padres son los cuidadores de sus hijos y sientan las bases de su desarrollo
emocional, mental y físico. Son los expertos en las necesidades de sus hijos. Por lo tanto, soy partidaria de que las escuelas entablen un diálogo transparente y abierto con los padres que fomente la colaboración y los empodere para garantizar que sus hijos alcancen todo su potencial.
Como madre cuyos hijos se han graduado del VUSD (Distrito Escolar Unificado de Vacaville), hemos experimentado muchas maneras de ayudarlos con éxito a obtener el máximo provecho de su educación. Honestamente, no todos los niños asistirán o se graduarán del colegio. Apoyo la promoción de la educación vocacional en nuestras escuelas secundarias y la asociación con pequeñas empresas locales para ayudar a los estudiantes a encontrar una carrera que mejor se adapte a ellos.
